Area: Rent, Buy, Share Malta

Papers App Ltd

About this app

Area is the free way to find a place in Malta — a whole apartment to rent, a room in a shared flat, or a home to buy. Swipe. Save. Move in.

One vertical feed. One map. Switch Rent, Rooms, or Buy in a tap. Browse without an account. Message posters and publish your own listing when you want to.

RENT · ROOMS · BUY

• Rent
Whole apartments and houses across Malta. Filter by city and budget, then open the listing when you’re ready.

• Rooms
Shared flats and collocs only — no family-home noise in the feed.

• Buy
Properties for sale in the same simple app. No jumping between Facebook groups and agency sites.

HOW AREA WORKS

• For You
Swipe listing by listing, photos first. Save what you like. Share a link.

• Map
See homes on a dark map. Zoom in and photo pins appear — tap one to open it.

• Explore & search
Browse by area and budget (Sliema, St Julian’s, Gżira, and more), or type it in plain English: “2 bedroom in Sliema under €1,500”.

• Messages
Ask if it’s still available, in the app. No Facebook hunt.

• Post a listing
Add a title, photos, and specs. Tap Improve with AI to polish the copy.

• Area LIVE
Shot on site. Film at the property so people know the place is real — not a stolen photo.

SAFE & FREE

Area is free. Listings come from people on Area and from public sources. Report or hide anything that shouldn’t be there. Moderators review reports.

Finding a home in Malta shouldn’t be a full-time job. Download Area and start swiping.
