Order management, map solution, machine planning and organization of your own forest company are just excerpts from WFW Multi Maps. The solution is developed directly at WFW and is 100% in-house.
The focus is on ease of use and involvement of all participants in the entire timber harvesting chain. For every actor in the forest, the questions Who? What? When? and where? answered.
MultiMaps is a digital organization and planning tool that all stakeholders have “mobile” access to!
> Within the order, the cut areas are defined with geo information.
> The actors can exchange information with each other and with the manager.
How it works:
Multi Maps consists of two main applications
> MultiMap Manager:
The manager is a web-based application with the main focus on organization, resource and order management.
The forest contractor keeps track. Within the created orders, all necessary information about the order, the subordinate work orders and the associated actors are managed. Assortments, task descriptions, instructions in the order are automatically distributed to all actors within the order. Safety instructions or information on nature conservation are also always kept up to date.
> MultiMaps Mobile:
The user receives the orders in real time. Incidents, rangers or other people on foot use the application on the handy smartphone.
Users in the harvester, forwarder, skidder or other machines do not have to open the app on their smartphone, but can open it on a tablet that is fixed in a holder. This does not affect the work in the machine. Daily work with the app works by processing existing pins or creating new pins.
Pins are points on the map that are assigned to specific actors and provided with information. For example, the harvester operator fails to reach a distant tree and marks it for the intruder. Routes can be recorded via the map application, both on foot and in the machine.
