Zaulimi is an inclusive mobile application which assists farmers and extension officers with essential production and marketing information for selected crops, livestock and baobab.
Following the logic of the production cycle, farmers are presented with detailed crop information on climate & soil requirements, planting, manure & fertilizer application, weeding, pest & diseases control as well as harvesting & storage. The crops featured currently include groundnuts, maize and soya. The content can be accessed offline.
Market price information for major crops that are traded through Agricultural Commodity Exchange for Africa (ACE) are featured in the app
