The Dato Scanner is the exclusive app for staff of businesses partnered with El Dato — the discount and rewards platform for local businesses in the Riviera Maya.

WITH THIS APP YOU CAN:

• Scan a customer's QR code to verify visits and redeem rewards

• Search for customers by WhatsApp number as an alternative method

• View the customer's active rewards: first-visit bookings, second-visit bookings, birthdays, anniversaries, and more

• Confirm reward redemptions with a single tap

• Work offline — the app syncs data in the background and operates even without internet access

SECURITY AND ACCESS:

• Google login

• Biometric authentication (fingerprint or Face ID) for quick access

• Restricted access: only authorized staff of registered businesses can use this app
