About this app

Site Log is the field notebook for technical inspections. It captures the site visit, organizes areas and equipment, attaches evidence, and delivers the report without re-transcribing in the office.

Each survey maintains the relationship between site, area, element, finding, and photograph. You can register racks, cabinets and IDFs, network nodes, cameras, access points, electrical panels, equipment, CFE-matics devices, multifunctional kWh meters, and other assets. Each type displays only the corresponding data and checks. Items can be moved between areas without losing their information or photos.

Checklists reduce typing with one-tap responses. The app suggests a correct status, observation, fault, or pending status, but the technician retains the final decision.

For CFE-matics devices, it includes eight physical inspections, ten functional modules, probable diagnosis, recommended action, priority, crew, and structured spare parts for quoting.

For multifunctional kWh meters, the app includes A3 ALPHA/VL2R and PowerLogic ION8650 profiles, configuration of phases, wires, elements, voltage, current, accuracy, and frequency; visible attachments and data; 24 physical, measurement, and communication checks; RJ-45 cable testing, Ethernet link testing, ping, protocol testing, remote reading, and interventions performed.

Guided photographs are associated with the element and the point they show. Upon returning from the camera, the form returns to the exact same position to continue the sequence. Each photo can have a caption and is reduced in size before saving.

The nameplate reader uses OCR on the device. It only suggests the model, serial number, or IP address; this information is added when the technician confirms it.

Before handing over, the app lists what is missing. A fault is a result of the work, not a pending task. The fingerprint signature serves as field proof, and the report clarifies that it is not an advanced electronic signature.

You can share a PDF, a twelve-column CSV file, or a ZIP file containing a PDF, CSV file, evidence index, and photos. Location is optional and is only requested when you tap the corresponding button.

Surveys are saved locally on your phone. Capture and report generation work offline and do not require an account. Temporary export files are automatically deleted after 48 hours.
