PayTable Waiter is the waiter app for the PayTable POS system, designed for restaurants that offer QR code payments to their customers: Scan — Select — Pay.

With PayTable Waiter, the front-of-house team receives real-time notifications of:

• Table calls — immediate alert when a customer requests assistance from their phone.

• Orders ready in the kitchen — a "Ready to Serve" banner appears as soon as the kitchen marks a dish as prepared.

• View of assigned tables — active, pending, and closed accounts for the current shift, with instant totals.

• Shift closing — sales, tips, cash, and card totals at the end of the shift, ready to be submitted to the manager.

Features:

• Persistent on-screen notification with call count and active accounts (no need to open the app).

• Configurable ringtones and vibration for customer calls.

• Designed for use on Android smartphones — no tablet or additional hardware required. • Secure activation: The restaurant manager generates a unique QR code for each server at the start of their shift; this is complemented by a personal 6-digit PIN.

• End-to-end encrypted connection (secure HTTPS + WebSockets).

Important:

PayTable Server is designed for servers in restaurants that already use the PayTable POS system. It is not an app for individual use; it requires an activation code provided by the restaurant manager to log in.
