About this app

TaxBox is a tax app designed for individuals in Mexico under the Salary and Wage tax regime who want to know if they have a tax refund due from the SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service) and file their annual tax return more easily.

With TaxBox, you can review your tax information, consult your CFDI (electronic tax receipts), calculate your taxes for each fiscal year, and find out if you have a refund or a balance due, all within an experience designed for people who aren't accounting experts.

How does it work?

1. Review your invoices
View your CFDI for income, withholdings, and expenses. You can also manually upload XML files if you already have them.

2. Calculate your taxes
Select the fiscal year you want to review, and TaxBox will show you a summary with income, withholdings, deductions, ISR (Income Tax), and the estimated result of your tax return.

3. File your return
If you have a refund due, TaxBox helps you prepare the necessary information to request your refund or file your annual tax return.

To begin, TaxBox may request tax credentials such as your e.firma (electronic signature) or SAT/CIEC Password, which are necessary to access your tax information and verify that you belong to the Salary and Wage Regime.

TaxBox is designed for taxpayers who want to understand their tax situation without complications, especially those who had salary income, more than one employer, or want to check if they can recover a tax refund.
