With BitsaboutMe, you can earn 1% cashback with every grocery purchase. You can shop anywhere and import your receipts. The money you earn can be invested in offsetting your CO₂ footprint or paid into an account of your choice.
With the BitsaboutMe cashback app, you earn 1% cashback every time you buy groceries: that means if you spend 50 francs on groceries, you’ll be credited with 50 rappen.
The cashback program is open to groceries and other everyday goods such as tobacco, alcohol, and household items—items that you spend money on anyway on a regular basis.
Unlike other cashback promotions, BitsaboutMe’s cashback app lets you shop anywhere: It’s not a loyalty program that only includes specific partners or retailers. In addition, the cashback program is completely digital—say ‘goodbye’ to annoying plastic cards.
Here’s how it works: You shop as usual and pay with a debit card, credit card, TWINT, or any other electronic payment method. Digital receipts, such as those offered by Migros or Coop, can be imported automatically and matched to your payment. After two to three business days, you will see your cashback under “My Account” in the BitsaboutMe cashback app. You can either reinvest your cashback directly into offsetting your CO₂ footprint or transfer your money quickly and easily to a bank account of your choice.
