Identify and learn about the birds of Britain. Over 170 of the commonest and most loved birds are included.

Birds are listed alphabetically and by Family. Each bird is presented with a description, data, map, key identification points, cross-references to similar species, and a set of clickable thumbnails showing various aspects of the species.

There is a photographic key to colours, size, habitat and season to help you to identify birds in the field, and you can test and improve your knowledge with the interactive quiz!

The app is free-standing and once downloaded does not require Internet access or any permissions. It does not collect, process or transmit any personal data.

NatureBritain pledges a proportion of app revenues to supporting nature conservation, education and research projects in the UK.
