HOW IT WORKS
The app uses Android's Device Administrator permission to lock your screen the same way the power button would. You grant the permission once during setup.

HOW TO UNINSTALL
Because the app uses Device Administrator, uninstalling takes 2 steps:
1. Open Settings → Security (or "Location & security") → Device administrators → uncheck "Turn Off Screen".
2. Uninstall the app as usual.

Installed the app, clicked open and it request admin, accepted, clicked open and my screen locks. Added the app to my home screen and when I click it, it locks the phone. No issues thus far, no ads, no pop ups, just works.

It turns off screen, but you can't use fingerprint to unlock, only pin code. Edit: false, this can be set by the app, using accessibility options. Look it up. Edit 2: I understand monetizing on such a feature, but there are other apps that already do this for free with no ads, so :(
