CEO’s Office Manipur launches an APP (Android based) called Voter Facilitator

Benefits:
1. Average Queue Waiting Time: It enables every voter to check the average queue waiting time for his/her polling station before going for casting his votes. This is calculated based on live data entered by polling officer on the day of polling from time to time.

2. Wheelchair service booking facility: Any voter who are 80 years or more, or anyone one who belongs to LOCO-PwD category can book a Wheelchair using his mobile conveniently from the comfort of his/her home.

For this Wheelchair service booking can be done using
a) a mobile number (gets authenticate via OTP) and to receive follow up call from election officials,
b) the voter must keep his EPIC ready for entering in the booking service
c) Once the booking is confirmed, the mobile can no longer be used in another service booking in Voter Facilitator APP

3. Postal Ballot opting service facility: Any voter who are 80 years or more, or anyone one who belongs any PwD category can opt for a Postal Ballot in this election using his mobile conveniently from the comfort of his/her home.

For this Postal Ballot opting service, following will be required
a) a mobile number (gets authenticate via OTP) and to receive follow up call from election officials,
b) the voter must keep his EPIC ready for entering in the opting service
c) Once the opting service is confirmed, the mobile can no longer be used in another service booking in Voter Facilitator APP

For postal ballot there is a cut-off date declared by ECI, any opting service after the cut-off date will not be entertained, also the APP will prevent opting after cut-off date.
After the opting service is confirmed, concerned officials will contact the elector in completing his Form-12D as per the regulation of ECI.
