About this app

Control your media playback through hover and wave gestures above your device - without even touching the screen!

Doing the dishes? Working out? Cleaning? Don't want to get your screen dirty? AirMode enables you to control your music or video playback through simple "Air Gestures" above your device's proximity sensor, without even needing to unlock your device.

AirMode offers 4 powerful gestures with 10+ customizable actions. You can map any gesture to actions such as control media playback, launch Assistant, open any app and much more.

Default gestures and actions:
• Hover: Play/pause media
• 1 Wave: Next track
• 2 Waves: Previous track
• 3 Waves: Launch assistant

Tips:
• Do not move your hand too fast or the proximity sensor may not register the movement.
• Try practicing gestures on the "Practice & Test" page.
• The proximity sensor on your device will usually be at the top, near the earpiece.

Man, this app changed my lab life. I work in biology field, so have to wear gloves. Can't change music on phone while working because of fear of carrying infection on my phone screen. But now, I just wave over my phone and boom I get to listen to my favourite songs and skip the boring ones. Thank you to the person (Aditya Kharote) who made this app!

I was in class whenever it rubs my pants and it unmuted my phone well my phone went off just wish it could recognize hands but anything that rubs over the camera will activate it other than that it's really good it feels universal accepts the fact that you have to be really close up to the camera but i would say its a good app
