There are currently major problems with the Mapping Authority's servers, this will unfortunately affect the app until the Mapping Authority has a new cache service for sea charts in place. Until then, maps will load very slowly or maybe not at all.
A map plotter app with map data from the Norwegian Mapping Authority's open services with the main focus on easily visualizing:
- Placement
- Distance
- Direction (to destination)
- Driving time (to destination).
Otherwise, the app has
- Selection of map type
- Add waypoints
- Navigate to pos in the map or waypoint
- Measure distance in the map
- Determine (possibly automatically) the boat's position in the vessel surface.
NB this app will not work outside Norway.
