Penalty Shootout immerses you in the atmosphere of short but very intense football duels, where everything is decided by a few accurate shots. Before the game starts, the player chooses his team, after which the system randomly selects an opponent for a new confrontation. The series consists of only four shots, but even that is enough to make each attempt feel important. The player chooses the direction of the ball's flight, trying to find the perfect moment to hit and leave the goalkeeper without a chance. In Penalty Shootout, each accurate shot gradually forms the tense rhythm of the match, in which one mistake can completely change the outcome.

After choosing a direction, the goalkeeper randomly jumps to one of the sides of the goal. If his movement does not coincide with the trajectory of the ball, the player scores a goal and continues the series of successful shots. If the goalkeeper correctly predicts the direction, the ball is deflected, and the chance is lost. It is this unpredictability that makes Penalty Shootout a constantly tense game where it is impossible to fully control the outcome. The player is forced to combine caution with risk, change the direction of the shots and try not to become predictable for the opponent.

Of particular importance in Penalty Shootout is the multiplier system. Each successive goal increases the reward coefficient, gradually increasing it to ×2, ×4, ×8 and more. Because of this, each successful series makes you want to take another risk and continue the combo. After several accurate shots, the tension increases noticeably, because one save by the goalkeeper can instantly reset the pace of a successful series. It is thanks to such a system that even a short round turns into an emotional football test, where not only accuracy is important, but also the ability to keep your cool.

After the series is over, the player can immediately choose a new team and start another football match. Random opponents and different shot results make each round unique and add constant dynamics to the game.
