About this app

MusicSync is the best music player that puts you in control of your music, no matter where it's stored. Use it as an offline music player or link your Google Drive™ to seamlessly play all your music. It caches music from your cloud account for offline playback. The app is Chromecast-enabled. It supports hi-fidelity FLAC & ALAC lossless sound, gapless playback, and Android Wear. The free version of the app has no time limit, no shuffle limit, no skip limit and no intrusive ads.

  • You don't have to worry about syncing. Just keep adding/removing songs in your Google Drive directory

  • Built-in smart caching. The app has in-built smart caching to cache all the recently played songs up to a configurable cache. So, you don't have to worry about running out of disk space. The app works 100% offline with cached songs.

  • Connects to Modern Music Accessories. The app supports Bluetooth headset controllers like pause/play buttons. The app supports Chromecast™-enabled
  • Automatically fetches the album art and artist information whenever available

It cached the files and plays files fine with my Bluetooth headphones - however Android Auto does not work at all. It will play about 4-5 seconds of the track and then stop playing all audio until I close and reboot the app. Then I can still only play 4-5 seconds before it stops audio. Spotify works just fine in Android Auto so I'm not sure what the issue is.

I tried a number of players, but this player plays directly from your gDRIVE, so you can store a ton of music there that can be accessed while on a plane, or on the road . . .or sitting right at your computer. Online or offline is no problem. Love having this program! I only wish it was easier to jump the que (choose tracks randomly, that is) to select songs out of sequence w/o having to close and reopen. Still love you though!!!! Do we get to change the colors or theme? That would be cool.

Thanks for the feedback, Chris. Can you elaborate more on what do you mean by "jump the que"? Feel free to email me at

Just the music app I was looking for, I think. Will change my rating if it doesn't turn out to be what I hoped for. Problem is, the app cannot see any of the subfolders in my Music folder. I checked the sharing, and all folders are shared publicly. (Sent a note to developer and waiting on an answer. Will share here in case others have the same issue.)
