It is a great exception depending on your use cases between local send, wetransfer and all the other apps like Quickshare, or old ones like Shareit. So if you want a somewhat reliable app, I would say this is not bad compared to local send. I do question the idea of needing an account, but it does serve it's purposes, but making the idea of having a form of storage or memory of devices you use, regardless of how many you own or how many times that device is reset.

Update: I love this app however, functionality to set contacts as favorites is still missing. It worked once flawlessly but then from next day, it stopped working. when I try try to transfer files, i don't get the notification to accept the files. Also, unable to send files to others. Even the notifications & permissions are enabled. pls. fix it ASAP! Also, add the functionality to set contacts as favorites. This will be super helpful.

Love it, super quick and really easy to setup - the handiest tool I've run across in a long, long time. Not having to plug in a cable or use cloud storage saves so much time! -1 ⭐ : can't configure incoming folder, Blip always uses default downloads. No simple way to clear history. Windows client is a memory hog, though I blame MS for that.
