I always thought my wifi was broken because I would see mediocre speeds. turns out it was just the apps I was using. with this app, I consistently get around 80MB/s for local transfers. The desktop app is pretty buggy though. I constantly have to close it because it keeps files locked after transfers so you can't move or edit them until the app is closed from your task tray.

Can't Live without this app! having just switched from iPhone back to a pixel, I was wondering how I was going to replace airdrop. I found blip just going through apps. changed my life! works better than I could have ever dreamed. I use a Windows, laptop and seamlessly sharing between my own devices and with my family on a premium display is amazing! literally couldn't be better

Perfect AirDrop alternative because I am never getting an iPhone. Get the phone app, login with an email address. Get the MacOS app online (not in the App Store), login with the same email to make it one of your devices. Pick the folder you want to save to and it just works. No need to be on the same WiFi network because it uses email protocols somehow I think. It works with documents, images and videos. Other apps like LocalSend work fine with images but seems to fail completely with PDFs
