About this app

Boss IPTV Media Player is a media player. It carries no channels, no movies and no series - you connect your own Xtream Codes account or M3U playlist, and the app plays it.

Built for a remote in a dark room. Every screen is drawn for a ten-foot view and five buttons.

WHAT IT PLAYS
- Xtream Codes API - host, username and password. Live, movies and series in one connection, sorted into categories.
- M3U and M3U8 playlists, from a link or a file. Group tags become categories and channel logos are picked up automatically.
- HLS, MPEG-TS, MP4, MKV and the usual streaming containers.

WHAT IT ADDS
- Programme guide, refreshed in the background.
- Artwork from TMDB - posters, backdrops, plot, rating, year, runtime and cast.
- Two playback engines. If a stream refuses one, the other usually takes it.
- Subtitle and audio track selection inside the player.
- Continue watching, favourites, drag-to-order groups, and a PIN lock on any category.
- Several playlists on one device.
- English, Croatian and German.

WHERE IT RUNS
Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV boxes, and Android phones and tablets running Android 5.0 or newer.

Every stream it plays is one you added yourself, from a source of your own choosing.
