The interface is pretty busy; doing anything requires too many steps. The default setting is a messy beat [with one track that doesn't seem to do anything] and no Clear All button. The samples are good, and the core concept is really appealing, but it needs a minimalist revision.

Visually, this drum step sequencer is very basic, looking more like an Excel page. Aesthetics aside, it's not lacking in features, choice of built-in classic kits, CR78, 808 etc, with per sample volume, L/R panning, accent etc, and easy to use step matrix. However, it does have many limitations, including no save, Wav/Mp3 export, and only 6 sounds, although these can be changed from the default and assigned to any sample within each Kit. Good fun with classic drum sounds but that's about it.

There's no way to save patterns. There's no way to gate samples, or filter or tune them. Crucially, most of the samples are not good. Many of them have noisy 'tails' (which is why the lack of gate is so bad), and a lot of the drum kits sound like they are from a child's toy.
