About this app

BusySMS turns Android phones you own into your own SMS gateway. Install the app, turn a SIM on, and every verification / OTP code it receives is captured for you to read back from your own code — over a REST API or via MCP for AI agents.

It is built for developers and teams who need to receive verification codes on real phones they control — not a shared or rented number pool.

HOW IT WORKS
• Sign in with your phone number (one-time SMS code — no password)
• Turn on the SIM(s) you want to run as gateways (single- or dual-SIM)
• Each number is verified by a quick SMS round-trip
• Codes that arrive are captured and ready to read instantly

READ YOUR CODES
• REST API: list your devices and fetch the latest code (long-poll supported)
• MCP: let AI agents such as Claude list devices and grab the latest code
• Per-device API keys you create and revoke in the dashboard

PRICING
• $5 per active device (SIM) per month
• 7-day free trial, billed monthly, cancel anytime
• Turn a SIM off and it is no longer billed

PRIVACY & CONTROL
• Only OTP / verification-style messages are processed while the gateway is on — not your full inbox
• A visible notification shows whenever the gateway is running; stop anytime
• Use only devices and numbers you control — BusySMS is not for intercepting other people's messages
