About this app

The "Redux" version is still in development and has some bugs, but addresses the issues the "Classic" version has.

Calaym is a lightweight, directory/filename orientated music player.

Features:
- simple interface
- integrated search, deleting and sharing (as provided by android/other apps) of songs
- fade-in/out and crossfade
- update Last.fm and/or Libre.fm if the the proper app ("Last.fm Scrobbler" or "Simple Last.fm Scrobbler") is installed (files should be properly named)
- Free, ad-free, open-source
- Media scanner / library independent. You can run Calaym without first having to wait for the media scanner to finish.
- Lyric support. Be sure the lyric files are UTF-8 lrc files placed next to your music files.

Requirements:
- Android 2.1
- Music files located in external storage / memory card in folder /Music (Note the capital 'M').

Tips:
- Long click the repeat mode button to toggle folder based repeat
- You can click on directories / files to quickly switch to folderlist, filelist and player view
- You can long-click on files to invoke a popup menu for additional options (sharing / deleting)
- Long-click on the duration text to toggle between elapsed and remaining time

Permissions:
- Storage: modify/delete USB storage contents
Allowes to delete songs, creation of .nomedia file for the music folder...
- Phone calls: Read phone status and ID
Calaym will fade in/out on incoming/outgoing calls
