Safer defaults
Invalid SSL certificates cannot be bypassed. Mixed content on HTTPS pages, third-party cookies, and unsafe address schemes are blocked by default, while Android System WebView Safe Browsing remains enabled. Content blocking works within the bundled filter rules and cannot guarantee that every ad is blocked; it can be disabled immediately for a site if needed. Reader mode displays sanitized content in a dedicated view with JavaScript disabled. Explicit HTTP pages are shown as insecure.
Local-first privacy
There is no Daolsoft-operated account, sync server, or analytics SDK. Tabs, bookmarks, browsing history, past search terms, and preferences are stored on the device. Address suggestions use only these local records and do not send text to an external autocomplete service while you type. Blocked request URLs and Reader article content are not sent to a Daolsoft server or kept in persistent logs. Web pages and searches communicate directly with their sites and search providers. Google Mobile Ads may process approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. See the privacy policy for details and available choices.
Daol Browser supports Android 9 and later. Web compatibility and security updates also depend on the Android System WebView installed on your device.
