WORKS WHERE OTHER VPNS DON'T
Most VPNs are easy to spot and block — their traffic looks like VPN traffic. Dissent's doesn't. It rides inside ordinary encrypted web requests, so to the network it looks like you're simply browsing. That's why it keeps working where other tools go dark.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Dissent doesn't track you and doesn't keep traffic logs. It uses blind-signed access tokens, so the server that carries your traffic can't link a session back to you — privacy enforced by cryptography, not promises.

What’s new

Encrypted SNI (ECH) is now on by default — it hides which sites and servers you connect to from your network and ISP, with a toggle in Settings if you want it off.

The connection screen's privacy checks now verify in real time, so a check only shows green when it's genuinely true on your connection.
