• Two part app: this one is yours. ShowHaven Kids is for the kids and goes on your child's phone, tablet or Google TV — search "ShowHaven Kids" on Google Play to download.
A kids' profile is still thousands of shows.
Your child backs out of the show you started and they are loose in the whole catalogue — autoplay, thumbnails, whatever the algorithm thinks a child wants next. Maturity ratings do not fix it. "Nothing above PG" is not the same as "these specific shows."
ShowHaven is a whitelist. You approve specific shows. Your child sees only those, as big tappable artwork, and tapping one opens it in Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock or HBO Max and plays it there. We host no video and re-stream nothing — it opens the apps you already pay for.
FOR PARENTS
• Approve exact shows, not age ranges.
• Shows displayed with big artwork — on supported services, your child picks the episode inside ShowHaven, and it remembers what is next.
• Collections: group shows ("Wind-down", "Dino Week"), toggle them per child, and share them with other families by code. Shares are copies — nothing reaches another family's child without their own parent approving it.
• Activity: what was watched, what was opened, and when your child was brought back to their grid.
• "Ask to come out": your child taps a button, your phone buzzes, you answer with one tap. A child who can ask does not have to hunt for holes.
With lockdown (Family plan), leaving the approved apps brings your child straight back, and playback of anything unapproved is caught within seconds. On the free tier your child can still back out and browse the streaming app.
No ads. No analytics SDKs. No selling data — see the privacy policy for full details. Your child never signs in, never searches, never types.
Requires the streaming apps and subscriptions you already have. ShowHaven opens them; it does not replace them. Show artwork and metadata from TMDB — this product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
