About this app

JetReader mainly does two things: lets you download books from your Calibre library (manually or automatic), and acts as an eReader.

You can read on multiple devices, and JetReader synchronizes your reading progress, bookmarks, annotations, dictionary lookups and statistics between the devices.

JetReader lets you easily download your books from Calibre (directly or through cloud services), and browse them with advanced filtering. Ratings and reading statuses can be sent back through a Calibre content server.

Read efficiently by looking up difficult words in the dictionary, or get AI explanations tailored to your book's context. Supports both built-in dictionary, as well as external dictionary apps.

JetReader stores your reading statistics and creates fun visualizations. Share with friends if you want to.

One of the goals of JetReader is to make it as customizable as possible. This includes the information you see while you're reading, touch-behaviour, shortcuts, colors, fonts, and more.

eReader optimizations make the reading optimal on eInk screens with high-contrast themes and automatic image color corrections.

What’s new

The biggest new thing in this update is annotation support, as well as an improved text selection/dictionary lookup system. The book info page has also gotten a new section that lists bookmarks, annotations and lookups for the book. Other than that, mostly bug fixes and usability improvements.
