Turn the core. Catch the colour.
A ring sits in the middle of the screen, split into coloured segments. Balls fly in along fixed lanes. Tap the left or right half of the screen and the core turns by one segment — the colour it shows must match the ball that is about to land.
That is the whole game. It takes three seconds to learn. Level twenty is merciless.
WHY IT IS WORTH YOUR TIME
• One thumb. No buttons, no menus during play, no tutorial you have to sit through.
• A round lasts thirty seconds to a few minutes. Perfect for a queue, a bus, or the five minutes before something starts.
• Honest difficulty. The game never sends two balls you physically cannot answer — the spacing is guaranteed, so every loss is your mistake, not the game's.
• Balls from every direction fly for exactly the same time, so no lane is harder than another.
HOW IT GROWS
Every eight catches is a new level. Balls get faster and closer together. A fourth colour joins at level 6. A fifth at level 12.
A run of catches raises your multiplier up to x8 — break the run and it resets to one.
Stars pass through any colour and pay a bonus. Hearts give a life back.
FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Every colour also carries its own symbol — circle, triangle, square, diamond, cross — so you never have to rely on colour alone. That makes the game playable for colour-blind players and readable for children who are still learning colour names.
No chat. No messages. No links out of the game. No advert in the middle of a round, ever.
LEADERBOARD
Claim a player name that nobody else can take, protected by a four-digit PIN, and see where you stand today, this week and all time — with a flag beside every name.
Changed your phone? Your name and PIN bring your place back.
FIVE LANGUAGES
English, French, German, Spanish and Bosnian. The game picks your phone's language on its own, and you can change it at any time from the menu.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No account with your email. No phone number. No contacts. No location beyond the country shown on the leaderboard. You can delete your name and every score you have set straight from the main screen, or from a web page if you no longer have the app.
Whirpool needs an internet connection to play.
Turn the core, catch the colour. One thumb, three lives, endless reflex test.
