About this app

Take control of your tasks without giving up your privacy. Everdo is a productivity app and task manager built around GTD® (Getting Things Done®) — no account required, no internet needed, no cloud dependency. Your data stays on your device, always.

Available on Android, iOS, Windows, Mac, and Linux — your productivity system works wherever you do.

Why Everdo?

Unlike most to-do apps, Everdo works fully offline — fast, private, and reliable in any environment. There's no sign-up wall, no forced cloud sync, and no one else has access to your data.

When you do want to sync, your content is protected with end-to-end encryption. Task names, notes, tags — all encrypted so that only your devices can read them. Not even we can see your data.

"Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them." — David Allen

Sync on Your Terms

Use Everdo completely offline — forever, if you want. Or sync across all your devices over your local network. Or use our end-to-end encrypted cloud sync service for access from anywhere. No option is forced on you.

▸ Fully offline — no internet required, ever
▸ Local network sync between your own devices
▸ Cloud sync with end-to-end encryption

▸ Designed to work without Wi-Fi or mobile data for any length of time
▸ Dark mode support
▸ Quick capture via persistent notification and shortcuts
▸ Take your GTD® system on a plane, into the subway, or off the grid

Your Privacy Comes First

Most productivity apps store your tasks on their servers. Everdo is different. Your data lives on your device. Sync is optional. And when you do sync, end-to-end encryption ensures your content stays private — no server-side access, no data mining, no AI training, no ads.

This is actually the only one app that gets GTD or more generally task management right. 1. Cross-platform: including linux. 2. Data exportation, very impoetant, if for any reason you decided to move to another app, at least you don't loose your record, and in the AI era parsing json yourself is very easy. 3. Negative selection for tags, VERY CRUCIAL AND MOST APPS LACK!! And many more points I like. Only one thing irritates me a bit: i hope filters can stay as they are, plz don't auto-reset

So much potential! This is the only GTD app that stays true to the method. The problem is the UI. It's not very intuitive, and there's no dark mode. Those are the two stars I left out. I don't want to keep using Todoist, which isn't very good for GTD, but Todoist is a lot easier on the eyes and intuitive. If Everdo can work on that, it would be amazing. Update: It's not free either, and VERY expensive. Now I know why it isn't more popular. Nice try 😑

Thanks for the feedback. Quick update - dark mode is now available along with many other UI improvements. On pricing - Everdo Pro is a one-time purchase around $100 that unlocks all platforms permanently. For users who stick with an app long-term, it ends up much cheaper than subscription alternatives like Todoist. - Andrei

A pretty good app. I like that it can be installed on Linux too. The pro version is a one off payment that a very reasonable price. So it's a better choice for me over Nirvana for that. I'd say the UI is not as clean as Nirvana but it's still good and well worth the money. Last update was a little while ago though so not sure if it's still actively developed. But it's a relatively simple app so not much to go wrong anyway.
