Guess how big things are, narrow the range, and see ๐ how close you got.
Ponde Greta is a number ๐ข-sense game ๐ฎ. It trains one skill: judging how big, how far, how heavy or how many something is, and landing in the right order of magnitude.
Each round asks about a real quantity, such as the bones in a human skeleton or the area of an A4 sheet. You answer by narrowing a range. Tap ๐ Above or Below five times and the range shrinks. Then pick how much room you want: a tight band scores more points, a loose band scores fewer. Lock it in and the real value is revealed, with how many orders of magnitude you were off and a short explanation.
What you can do:
- Play โถ๏ธ a daily drill of five quantities and build ๐จ a day streak ๐ฅ.
- Work through a course of six chapters and eighteen levels, earning up to three stars on each level ๐ง.
- Break a hard question into smaller factors in the Lab. Set each factor yourself and the workbench ๐ ๏ธ multiplies them out, compares the result with the real value and shows which guess cost you the most.
- Run calibration rounds. Give a low and a high end you are 90 percent ๏ผ
sure contain the answer, then see ๐ whether your 90 percent is really 90 percent.
- Read a round report ๐งพ with your range, the real value, your points and your result for every quantity.
There are 96 quantities in 8 subjects, from everyday objects to the human body, the planet and space. The scoring is plain arithmetic, so you can see ๐ why โ each answer earned its points.
Play โถ๏ธ a few minutes a day with Ponde Greta and your sense of scale gets sharper. Ponde Greta needs no typing and no arithmetic to play.
