About this game

Go is ancient strategy game with simple rules. Hactar go is perfect for learning go, and to study go anywhere you are. A good way to learn go is thru game of capture-go. Hactar can play capture-go with you.

Hactar Lite can play capture-go with you. Hactar Lite also lets you try go at beginner level in a 9x9 board.

It is possible to search games in the device for position or players.

Hactar contains over 410 go problems (tsumego). You can also add your own collections easily, or download additional 400 problem with few clicks.

Hactar offers pro-level AI analysis. It can be used to find better moves or mistakes from any games.

Hactar GO can be used to view and record go games in SGF format. Hactar supports variations and setup stones. Hactar can automatically replay games.

Differences between Hactar Go full version and Hactar Go Lite:
1. The full version has a go opponent for 13x13 and 19x19 boards (subscription in Lite).
2. The full version has internet game search (subscription in Lite).
3. The full version offers more accurate AI analysis. Both versions offer even more accurate AI as subscription.

Hi, I really like the AI since it's pretty challenging for me but could there be a way for us players to costumize the starting board in Capture Go (Example: Instead of starting with the four stones already placed to start with an empty table) Anyway really liked the AI. Maybe it would help to not have to complete all levels like the most begginer ones since they are so easy.

Just started solving beginner-difficulty problems and immediately I'm not very satisfied with it. First of all, there's no explanation after the puzzle is solved, there's been times I didn't fully understand what exactly and in which way has been achieved with the move I played. Secondly, there are problems which require 2 or more moves, but I haven't found an indication of how many moves do I need to make. I thought the number of rocks under the goban would tell me that, but I was wrong.

Difficult to understand. Not beginner friendly, even in capture go. No help, no explanations, and no undo function. If you make a mistake, the undo procedure listed doesn't work. No information on strategy or how to play capture go. The hint function is useless and always leads to you losing. Only tried capture go, no explanation of strategy or moves, or why certain choices are better. Not helpful at all, not beginner friendly.
