About this app

OMV Companion is a fast, read-first monitor for your OpenMediaVault home server — keep an eye on disk health, storage, temperatures and services from your phone, get notified the moment something needs attention, and handle a few common tasks without opening a browser or SSHing in.

Unofficial: OMV Companion is an independent, community-built app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the OpenMediaVault project or its developers.

SMART BACKGROUND ALERTS
- Get notified when a drive fails a S.M.A.R.T. check, a disk runs hot, a filesystem fills up, a service unexpectedly stops, or updates are available
- Alerts only fire when your server is reachable, so you're never spammed while away from home — and the app scans the moment you reconnect to your network

OMV Companion is designed as a "monitor now, manage lightly" tool — the heavy administration still lives in the OpenMediaVault web interface.
