Welcome to the new realm of ZimaOS.

Zima Client serves as the mobile management interface for ZimaOS. Whether monitoring operational status, executing deployed applications, or reviewing your files, all can be seamlessly accomplished from your mobile device.

VPN Service Usage:
When you select “Connect via Remote ID,” Zima Client uses Android VpnService to create an encrypted, user-initiated tunnel between your Android device and your own ZimaOS device or private network. Only traffic required for remote access to your ZimaOS device is routed through this tunnel. Zima Client is not a general-purpose VPN. VpnService starts only after your action and Android system consent, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Ratings and reviews

Sometimes it just doesn't work at all. The majority of the time it is connected and I can see usage stats but can't access the containers tab so I have to access them through a mobile browser. It's incredibly annoying. Requires a remote ID to connect but can't get it from a connected device only from a computer. I've had so many problems with ZimaOS and I don't see any way that it would be an improvement on CasaOS. Wish I didnt set up my second NAS with Zima and will be switching it.

on the plus side, there are no connections issues. on the negative side, there are a few bugs, like if we change the port numbers for access, it doesnt allow to view photos. management functionalott is limited.

Very sexy... new version looks fabulous! For those of you unaware, ZimaOS is simply perfect if you are just starting out with a media server. But it's also great for people that love to get their hands dirty.
