Great free app to learn cw I have been using this app for over a year almost daily to study Morse code. It is very handy when there is no PC around. Not many features, but the necessary functions are present. Thank you for the useful free app that does not annoy with flashing ads. Update: I got to 28 WPM using this app with 97% copy, took me 1.5 years. I ended up using this app much more than the PC-based G4FON because it is just so handy to run it on a tablet anywhere. Thank you again for the wonderful app.
Excellent best cw app so far Excellent agreat app. Already know all the alphabet, numbers and punctuation marks etc. However. Voice is a great help but let's you down. You think you have the correct symbol then voice doesn't say it when reading back. you always need to watch the screen. 9 times out of 10 the voice is correct. But that 1 in 10 it doesn't even say the symbols. You think you have it wrong, then bang you look at the screen and think "I heard that" especially the plus and equals sign. They are never played back
Perfect app for learning or relearning code. It is everything I've been looking for. I have removed all other morse apps. I honestly don't know how it could be improved. The only other app I have will dit-dah text messages ... I guess he could add that feature.
Excelent Uses Koch method. Anything else is a waste of time and will make learning harder & slower. Very nice app, best free one out there. And sacrifices little to nothing over paid. De af6it
Perfect! Perfect! Perfect! This app has every option you might want for practicing CW. You can adjust the tone, the wpm, and the character spacing! You can set the app to play specific characters. You can set the app to play difficult characters more frequently. It is simply awesome. Great job IZ2UUF!
Love the new speech mode I'm finding it really hard to get anywhere close to 90% on the first lesson at 20wpm. I'm afraid to go slower but have no idea if I'll ever be able to do this! There's no real definitive guidance on the web about what speeds are OK to learn at. It says don't go below 20 but I don't know of I can do this!
- Fixed bug: reprinted welcome screen when device was rotated/locked.
- Added speech support
- New "koch word" exercise.
- Added user defined hard letters.
- Added auto-hard letters.
- Made moveable to SD-card
- When a file is loaded, its name is printed on the main screen
- Fixed bug: the number of letters used to compose a word were one more than the value selected in "Word length".
- Speed now goes up to 100 wpm
- Added a WPM quick bar on the main screen.
