Excellent best cw app so far Excellent agreat app. Already know all the alphabet, numbers and punctuation marks etc. However. Voice is a great help but let's you down. You think you have the correct symbol then voice doesn't say it when reading back. you always need to watch the screen. 9 times out of 10 the voice is correct. But that 1 in 10 it doesn't even say the symbols. You think you have it wrong, then bang you look at the screen and think "I heard that" especially the plus and equals sign. They are never played back
Great free app to learn cw I have been using this app for over a year almost daily to study Morse code. It is very handy when there is no PC around. Not many features, but the necessary functions are present. Thank you for the useful free app that does not annoy with flashing ads. Update: I got to 28 WPM using this app with 97% copy, took me 1.5 years. I ended up using this app much more than the PC-based G4FON because it is just so handy to run it on a tablet anywhere. Thank you again for the wonderful app.
Love the app overall. The control over wpm, char and word timing, speech mode and the ability to choose which letters to focus on (hard letters) allows it to be tailored to different situations and uses. I've not finished all of the characters but so far I've run across a couple of bugs. I'm using the LCWO sequence with voice. The '=' char has no voice associated with it and instead is presented as a silence. The '.' works fine, don't know about the other characters as I'm not there yet. In the 'hard letters' configuration, there is no option for the '=' as there is for the other characters.
Perfect app for learning or relearning code. It is everything I've been looking for. I have removed all other morse apps. I honestly don't know how it could be improved. The only other app I have will dit-dah text messages ... I guess he could add that feature.
Excelent Uses Koch method. Anything else is a waste of time and will make learning harder & slower. Very nice app, best free one out there. And sacrifices little to nothing over paid. De af6it
Not for general practice I installed this app for general CW practice. I know CW, I just wanted to improve my speed. This app appears designed for basic learning and not much else. It indicates the user can supply a text file to be used as source but after a significant effort to get it working, I am giving up and looking for something else. VE3RAC/NKH
