How VerbSquirt works

The need to conjugate French verbs on the fly can make spontaneous conversation difficult for even intermediate speakers of French.
VerbSquirt’s approach is to simulate the rapid recall and listening skills needed for a conversation involving French verbs, and to help the user improve those skills.
Instead of asking for conjugations based on a particular tense, VerbSquirt challenges the user to find the closest possible French translation for the English action they want to describe, or to identify the closest English translation for a particular action in French.
Once fluency improves, VerbSquirt helps the user gain familiarity with the different rules of conjugation for French verbs, and with the exceptions, leading to a better understanding of the subtleties of the language.

Edit: I took off a star because there are easy improvements that could be made. I reached out to them via email about the items but they never responded which is disappointing. Best there is at the moment on Android that I was able to find. It does a pretty good job at helping you memorize the conjugations while still making it seem like a game.

Exactly what I have been looking for - a serious bargain. Finally I get translation along with conjugation! Verb group learning is a great feature. Simple interface, I would love to be able to sync my progress between devices, but that would have to be paid for somehow. Really helpful learning tool.

This app works great for me. I love that it gives me a bit of instruction before every game. This combination keeps me coming back for more! One improvement would be to give the option to listen to the pronunciation of each verb. All things considered this is the best app out there for learning verb conjugations that I have found.
