A social networking app bringing together music fans that allows you to rate Albums, Singles, and E.P.s from Spotify. Rate what you are listening to (or have listened to) out of five stars. Add albums to My Krate and save them for future listening.

A+ for the concept. Execution leaves much to be desired. Instead of relying on Spotify data, why not integrate with the Last.fm API. This way a list of your last scrobbles from any music streaming application are available for you to rate. Seems very limiting, and makes the app unusable for people who avoid Spotify. I also want to echo the crashing issues other Android users experience. I'm on a Galaxy S9+. Looking forward to future development.

EDIT 11/26/2020. App seems to be working fine on Android now. Thanks for fixing that. Very enjoyable app so far. Would be cool to link with lastfm! Love the concept. However it seems to crash on Android. Setting up an account was a hassle. Once I was finally able to access I could not edit my bio or upload a photo. Whenever I tried the app would crash. I hope it can be fixed because I enjoy this concept.

The ability to search for albums and rate them regardless of whether or not I've listened to them on Spotify would make this app worth using for me. BUT I will still give this 3 stars because I tried using it when it first launched and I can tell it has definitely improved since then. I can for sure appreciate the attempt to make something like this because nothing really exists to fill this role on the mobile front. It's just a thing where it's not really useful for MY use case. But Spotify is one of the most popular streaming services and it probably makes sense for them to use their data as a basis for this app. I'll give the devs credit for taking their licks and coming back with something that works right out of the gate.
