Cardamom Seed Lab turns the classic paper roll germination test into a hands-on puzzle. Fresh cardamom kernels arrive damp and it is your job to prove each batch.
Space the kernels on wet filter paper. Crowded seeds breed mold that jumps between neighbors, while empty stretches waste precious paper. Roll the strip tight and stand it in the culture cup, then unroll it every day to mist it back into the safe moisture band. Too much water rots the kernels, too little dries the sprout tips, and mold keeps creeping either way.
After the final day, unroll and grade: tap sprouts with a fresh white tip to count them, flick broken-root sprouts away to cull them, and keep your grading errors at zero. Your germination rate, spacing discipline and moisture control set the star grade and the coin payout.
Ten test batches grow longer and trickier, with uneven seed vigor and faster mold. Spend your coins in the supply shop on sterile paper, a precision nozzle, vitality tonic, a spacing template, fine tweezers and a lucky harvest charm.
