About this app

Cartographer turns your phone into a live map of the single-player world you are actually playing. Put your phone beside your keyboard and see where you are, where you have been, and what is around you, without leaving the game.

It needs a small free mod on the PC you play on. That takes about two minutes to set up once, and the app links to it. After that the app finds your PC on its own. There is no address to type and no account to make. The mod is built for Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2 and later in the 26 line, so check your version before you buy.

WHAT IT SHOWS
- Your position and heading, live, drawn from the game itself rather than guessed.
- The world at block level: your builds appear as the blocks you actually placed.
- Underground, the map cuts a slice at your level, so you see the tunnel you are in rather than the grass above it.
- Structures worked out from your world seed, using the same routine the game uses for the locate command, so the coordinates agree with it. Choose which kinds you want shown, then tap one for its exact position and distance.
- Terrain past what the game has loaded, computed from the seed. Zoom out and the world keeps going.
- Everywhere you have already been, remembered between sessions.
- Other players on your world, if you switch it on.

YOU DECIDE WHAT IT REVEALS
Every setting that shows you more than standing there would is off until you turn it on. Ore is hidden by default and drawn as the plain stone around it, with no hint that it is there. Fog of war shows only places you have actually laid eyes on, and it is the default. Unvisited terrain and other players are both opt-in. A map that spoils a world you have not explored yet cannot be un-spoiled, so the app does not make that choice for you.

FOR YOUR OWN WORLDS
This is built for single-player worlds and worlds you have opened to LAN. Do not use it on someone else's server. A map that shows ore through stone, or where other players are, is indistinguishable from cheating and can get you banned no matter what you meant by it.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No account, no sign-in, no cloud, no analytics.
- The app talks to your own PC on your own network and to nothing else.
- Nothing about your world leaves your home.
- Runs on phones without Google services.

WHAT YOU NEED
- Minecraft: Java Edition, version 26.2 or later in the 26 line. It will not load on 1.21 or earlier.
- Fabric Loader and Fabric API on that PC.
- The free Loxley Map mod on that PC.
- Phone and PC on the same wifi.
