SyncGallery is an auto backup and gallery sync app for Google Drive and OneDrive. Back up photos, videos, and any other files from your Android gallery to cloud storage — with total transparency. Unlike other photo sync apps that run silently, SyncGallery shows every operation before it runs and lets you pick exactly which files to back up.

WHAT MAKES SYNCGALLERY DIFFERENT

SyncGallery is a backup and restore app. To work, it needs to:
• Scan all your folders to find duplicates and avoid re-downloading files you already have
• Let you pick individual files from any folder, not just whole folders
• Sync custom file types and photo-edit sidecars alongside your photos
• Reach SD card storage and app-specific media folders that scoped storage can't see in the background
You'll be asked to enable this under Settings → Special app access → All files access. Without it, the core sync features cannot operate.
