How it works

2. Install your eSIM, 2-step setup, done before you board.
3. Purchase a plan: 3, 7, 14, or 30 days.
4. Enable your Maya eSIM upon arrival. Your plan starts from that moment.
5. When your plan ends, it simply stops. Turn on Auto Top-Up to have it renew automatically.

Ratings and reviews

The plan auto activated on its own as soon as I downloaded the esim before I left. To their credit customer service was effective and helpful and provided a work around. Still I think that the customer should have the final say as to when the service should start. In my case data roaming is on by defaultand since their plans are good for all countries the system doesn't know or care whether you started the trip or not. I'm not sure I'll want to use them again. The service in itself was reliable.

How is this a good app? You install it, log in, and all it shows is Unlimited Global Data, and you have to pay and that us it. You can't exit, you can't close, the menu does show profile, only blogs or other stuff that opens a website of theirs. There is no way to close this sort of ad for buying unlimited data, and if you log out and log back in, you get the same page again. It is so annoying

An app designed solely to trap gullible people into paying for their most expensive plans. I have been a customer for over a year and thought they finally rolled out an app to buy ans manage your eSims like all the other big eSim companies have had for ages, but no. Just a scheme to lure in new clients and zero attention to existing ones. This was the last straw. I'll be switching to a different company.
