About this app

SMB Server turns your phone into an SMB (file sharing) server. From a computer on the same Wi-Fi network, open your phone's Documents folder directly and copy, move or delete files. No cables and no cloud required.

・Shows the IP address, port and connection address (smb://…) you need

・Activity log of connections and file operations
・Shows the free space of the shared folder

■ How to use
1. Open the app, tap "Agree and start", then tap "Start"
2. Enter the address shown in the app on your computer
・Mac: Finder → Go → Connect to Server → smb://(IP shown):4455/Documents
・Windows: Explorer address bar → \\(IP shown)@4455\Documents
・Other SMB clients, such as Linux, can connect too
3. Sign in as a guest, or with the password you set

Only this app's Documents folder is shared. You can open the same location from your device's file manager app.

■ Privacy
・Never connects to the Internet. Works only inside your local network (Wi-Fi)
・Does not collect or send personal information, usage data or file contents
・Contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs
・No account required
・Files are shared only while the server is running; nothing is reachable when it is stopped

■ Notes
・Connect your computer and phone to the same Wi-Fi network
・The SMB port is 4455 (not the standard 445), so your client needs to specify the port
・With guest access, anyone on the same network can reach the shared folder. Use a trusted network or set a password
・Requires Android 8.0 or later
