What began as a great alternative to public transport, it is now a terrible service that only works half of the time, it's a gamble. Whenever you rent a bike, it's a coin flip if you'll get a working bike or a broken one, literally a 50/50 chance. Which sucks, because when it started, it was great! But only a year later and most bikes are trashed. One good thing I can say about ambici in 2025 is that it encouraged me to finally bite the bullet and buy an electric bike for myself.

Good and very useful service. Had a couple of problems returning the bikes or opening the locks but they were solved quickly on the phone. Location and amount of stations is nice. The app is easy to use and has all the info you need. I like that you can book the bike in advance, see how many bikes there are at any station and their battery level. Totally worth it.
