Download the app, find a MOL Bubi bike at one of the 158 stations and you are ready to ride within a few seconds.
All this in the blink of an eye: once you have registered, you can choose the fare that best suits you, and then you will be able to read the news, give feedback, redeem a coupon or contact customer service directly.
Use the QR code scanner to pick up a bike or enter the 6-digit number seen on the rear of the bike or below the seat tube. The smart lock in the back will open with a loud click, and after the beep, you can start cycling. In the app, you can track how long you have been riding. When you are ready to finish cycling, just return the bike to any station and dock it into a free slot. Lock the bike by pressing down the lever on the smart lock until it clicks.

Ratings and reviews

This is a wonderful concept. The app and the bikes usually work fine. However, it is very difficult to get support if something goes wrong. I have been billed heavily where the bike had a faulty lock and the ride timer continued. The bike did not unlock even after repeated attempts from the app for ride start. I was also not able to end the ride with the locked bike. It has been more than a week, I am yet to get support. Due to this, my monthly subscription is also wasted :(

I got no notification that the yearly subscription is over, so I used the system for 800 and 1000 Ft instead of buying a pass when it asked me to pay. I still find the payment system pretty awkwardly useless. Many stations full of bikes with none of them available. The locks would still need update or educational videos. On the positive side, bike and station number seem to satisfy the needs.

App is great, customer service is TERRIBLE. If the lock does not open, your only option is standing there calling a number and waiting for 10+ minutes while your bill is ticking and you can't leave. When I got through to an agent, they -REFUSED- to help because they didn't like my birthdate. Let me repeat: they REFUSED to cancel a rental that was billing me while it couldn't be used or returned. Edit after reply: the problem is the refusal to help the customer, not the lock getting stuck.
