About this app

Paperchat is a spiritual successor to the drawing and chat applications included with the many handheld videogame consoles released in the 2000s, bringing a nostalgic feeling through its user interface.

You can now chat and draw in real-time with your friends and people from all over the world while using the "pixelated" UI that we all love.

Features list:

- Public rooms: Chat and draw with others in real-time. Anyone can join.

- Private rooms: Your own room that is not shown when searching for rooms, share the invitation code to let others join!

- Offline room: Draw alone in your own room with no limits!

Don't forget to visit the web version on paperchat.net :)

* Paperchat is in no way, shape, or form associated with any major videogame company.

I love the concept of this chat app!! Firstly, I love the idea of the background and chat being paper because it gives off an old school vibe especially when everything is in pixels! Secondly, it is so fun to draw on and interact with others although there is barely any other people as it is quite an unknown app. However, the buttons used to text and drawing on the small screen is really difficult if you do not have a stylus. I also thought that we could have designs on the paper.

I really like the idea and it looks really fun, although the keyboard is really really small, and I wish I could actually find people :(

it reminds me so much of my Nintendo ds when I would chat with various people. I would love if more people were on it though💔🥺
