At this year's digital summit on October 21st and 22nd in Frankfurt am Main, the federal government will debate under the motto “Germany Digital – Innovative. Sovereign. International” with participants from business, science, civil society and politics about major digital future topics such as digital innovation, digital sovereignty and international cooperation.
During the year, projects, events and initiatives are developed in eight thematic platforms to explore the potential of future digital solutions, to promote the exchange of knowledge and “best practices” in the digital economy and, last but not least, to make digital topics tangible for citizens. The Digital Summit offers the perfect place to present this work and thus maintain a continuous dialogue with society as a whole about shaping the digital world.
In addition to Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the organizing federal ministers Dr. Volker Wissing MdB (Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport) and Dr. Robert Habeck MdB (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection), numerous other federal ministers, high-ranking representatives from business, civil society and science as well as from other European and international countries are expected.
