The BLUETTI App allows you to manage your home energy storage systems (ESSs) from anywhere, anytime. Monitor your energy usage, solar power data, and battery status, and even control charging and discharging, all in a matter of clicks.

Turned into extreme bloatware. Too many button presses to do simple repetitive things. Too many useless features for an app that should be very simple. 90% of things people will never use. No "convenience" features (widgets, timers, scheduling, auto BT syncing...). Requires login. Repeatedly asks for it. Tracks users. Awful UI with intentional misclick design. In app "ads". This app desperately needs a simple stripped down version with core functionality features only.

Initial experience wasn't very impressive with an AC180. I tried using the app without an account and the device did connect. I then created an account and found that the app couldn't connect to the device. Had to "unbind" and then add the AC180. After reconnecting, I updated the firmware. Bluetooth connectivity was lost and the app finally recognized the device after I made a round trip to check my phone's Bluetooth status. Before updating the firmware, my AC180 was showing fan errors.

Totally useless. Constantly crashing and I keep getting warnings on my phone about extremely high battery usage. The app is necessary to adjust settings though. Very poorly designed considering it's for a power backup and causes battery issues. I'm considering returning the product because of the app.
