app is designed for people in single family homes or individual pickup / service. if you live in a complex with centralized trash/recycling instead, the text and advice wont be very relevant (like what bin to put certain items and reminders on what time). otherwise seems pretty useful to help figure out if an item is recyclable. you just have to already know what the bin colors mean and figure out what your apartment complex does as the equivalent.
