About this app

Routerich Connect turns your phone into a full control panel for your Routerich router - no browser or desktop needed.

Get started in minutes with the guided setup wizard, then manage everything from Wi-Fi and connected clients to firewall rules, DHCP/DNS, routing, and system diagnostics, right from your pocket.

Key features:
- Setup wizard - guided first-time configuration

- Wi-Fi & network - configure wireless, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS
- Clients - see who's connected and manage access
- Access control - block or allow devices, set schedules

- Wake-on-LAN - power on devices remotely
- Diagnostics & monitoring - ping, traceroute, logs, live stats

- Remote access - manage your router when you're away from its network (uses VpnService, details below)

Use of VpnService

The app uses the Android VpnService class. It is required for the remote router access feature. Without VpnService these capabilities do not work: Android provides an app no other way to route traffic into a private network's address range.

Features that require VpnService:
1. Reaching the router's web interface at its address on the private tailnet when the phone is not connected to the router's local network - for example, over mobile data or someone else's Wi-Fi.
2. Listing your own devices on the tailnet, checking whether they are reachable, and filling the router address into the connection form.
3. Optionally, at your choice: an exit node - you can route the device's internet traffic through another of your own devices on the same network.

How it works:
- The feature is off by default, is enabled only by you, and requires confirmation of Android's own system prompt.
- Only tailnet traffic (100.64.0.0/10) is routed through the connection. Your device's general internet traffic is not carried - except when you enable an exit node yourself, in which case it goes through your own device, not through our server.
- Traffic is end-to-end encrypted; the private key never leaves the device.
- The app does not intercept, inspect or modify your traffic, does not redirect it to third parties, shows no ads, and contains no analytics.

Built for Routerich OpenWrt-based routers, with a clean mobile interface for quick checks and deep configuration alike.
