Open sound-activated gates with one tap.
Many gated communities and facilities use gates that open when their sensor hears an emergency-vehicle yelp tone. Gate Pick plays that exact tone — a 725–1800 Hz sweep at 220 cycles per minute, matched to the classic Federal Signal PA300 yelp pattern — straight from your phone's speaker.
Who it's for:
• Residents and authorized users — open your community or facility gate when the fob is at home.
• Facilities and maintenance staff — test audible gate openers on demand, and confirm a gate responds after installation or repair, without rolling a service vehicle.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Drive up to the gate and find the sound-activated gate box.
2. Hold the bottom of your phone (where the speaker is) against the round microphone port.
3. Tap the big red button. The gate hears the tone and opens.
BUILT FOR THE DRIVEWAY
• Always plays from the phone's own speaker — even while connected to Android Auto or Bluetooth, the sound never routes to your car.
• Automatically raises media volume to maximum for the burst, then restores your previous volume.
• Stops automatically after 15 seconds.
• A built-in guide with photos shows exactly where to hold your phone.
• No account, no ads, no data collection, no permissions. The app doesn't use the microphone, doesn't track you, and works entirely offline.
IMPORTANT
Use Gate Pick only on gates you are authorized to open. The tone is loud by design — avoid playing it near people's ears.
