SIPMX is a Mexican Vascular Plant Information System. Currently, there are public databases with information on herbarium specimens that have been synthesized for easy querying on web systems. The SIPMX APP was developed to allow queries to these databases using Artificial Intelligence. The mobile application uses OpenAI's GPT language model (the same as ChatGPT) to transform user queries into a language that the databases can understand (SQL).
