About this app

SMP Connect for Minecraft helps PlayStation and Xbox players connect to Minecraft Bedrock SMP servers using an Android phone on the same local network.

Choose a server, tap Connect, then open Minecraft on your console and select the LAN server shown by SMP Connect. Your phone handles the temporary local connection and helps direct your console to the selected Bedrock server.

Whether you want to play Bedrock together with friends or simply need an easier way to connect your console to a Bedrock server, SMP Connect keeps the process simple.

Connect to your SMP

SMP Connect includes built-in connection options for NinjiSMP and DonutSMP, as well as support for other compatible SMP servers.

You can also choose Custom SMP and enter your own Minecraft Bedrock server hostname and port.

The Bedrock connect process is handled from your phone, so you don't need to manually change DNS settings each time you want to switch servers.

How it works
Connect your Android phone and console to the same Wi-Fi network.
Open SMP Connect.
Select an SMP server or enter a custom Bedrock server.
Tap Connect.
Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition on your console.
Go to Play and open your Worlds / LAN Games list.
Select the LAN server displayed by SMP Connect.
Wait while your console connects to the selected SMP server.

Want to use another SMP?

Select Custom SMP and enter the server hostname and Bedrock port. SMP Connect uses the same local connection process to help your console reach the selected compatible server.

Requirements

• Minecraft Bedrock Edition
• Supported PlayStation or Xbox console
• Android phone and console connected to the same local network
• PlayStation Plus where required for online multiplayer
• An Xbox Game Pass subscription that includes online console multiplayer where required
