About this app

Spelly is a spelling app for kids ages 6 to 12 that turns their weekly school spelling words into games.

Take a photo of a printed or handwritten spelling list and Spelly turns it into a practice list in seconds. Your child hears each word read aloud in a natural voice, spells it, and gets instant feedback. Because every word is spoken, a child who can't read the list yet can still practice it. Typing is checked letter by letter, so autocorrect can't spell the word for them.

Replaying a list your child has already finished never uses a heart, so there is always something to play. Your first worksheet scan and your first AI list each day are free too.

Unlock Spelly is a single one-time purchase that removes the heart limit, raises the daily limits to 10 worksheet scans and 10 AI lists, and adds a second voice and word facts for the words your child practices. No subscription and no ads. Purchases in the app ask a grown-up question first.
