The app helps you learn and practice scales for the cello, providing real time feedback on your performance as you play. As each note is detected it is checked for tuning, highlighted in the scale you are playing and colour coded according to how in tune the note was. A rating of your performance is updated as you play.

You can allocate scales to sets for practicing (e.g. for exam board grades) and you can select a random scale from any set or from all the scales to simulate exam conditions.

that will highlight the string being played and provide graphical guidance on any re-tuning required.

The app can optionally show a suggested finger pattern graphic for the scale with note labels and underneath the full scale is written out as sheet music.
